More Member News

Howie Herrin   has served as President of the BVIM Board of Directors more than once and has been a board member for nine years. At the November Board meeting, he announced that he would be stepping down from the Board. Thank you, Howie, for all the time and dedication you've given to BVIM.

New Board members   for 2009 are Steve Olian, Virginia Dziomba (former Board Member) and Anabella Denisoff (former Board President). Welcome! And Welcome back!

Update on the Move   It looks like we'll be here through the end of January and February. We'll keep you posted.

Volunteers Needed   We're short-staffed for the February luncheon. We need two volunteers to help with set-up, serving and clean-up. Call Suzan or Barbara if you'd like to help: 415 459-5066 or 460-9739.

Lighthouse Workshops:
For Family, Friends and Partners - Understanding Vision Loss -

In these 2 hour workshops, learn more about vision loss: how to help, how not to help, and how to ask for help. Group provided at no cost to persons 55 and over and living in Marin County. All workshops held at 1137 4th St., San Rafael.
